Elise completed her undergraduate degree at Emory in 2025 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology as well as a Minor in Anthropology. She was initially drawn to this lab and its work due to her interest in behavioral and neurological similarities between nonhuman and human primates. However, her interests have grown to encompass conservation efforts and scientific transparency on socially stigmatized research such as Same Sex Behavior (SSB) in primates. She looks forward to getting more involved in research and welcomes the opportunity to diversify her knowledge.
