Grace Cayless

Grace completed her undergraduate degree at Emory University in 2025, majoring in Anthropology & Human Biology with a minor in Global Health. She joined Dr. Lonsdorf’s lab in her second year, working with health data and creating health records for individual chimpanzees, before transitioning to the mother-infant data set. She is interested in examining risks faced by chimpanzee infants at Gombe, including kidnapping, infanticidal attacks, and health issues. Post-graduation, she hopes to pursue an MSc in primatology/biological anthropology.
